Description

A versatile platform for spraying, spreading and lifting

The DJI Agras T70P brings a 70-litre spraying platform to farms and agricultural service teams that need substantial application capacity with the flexibility to change tasks. With suitable optional equipment, it can also spread granular material or carry agricultural loads. Its four-rotor platform combines large propellers, assisted field operation and environmental sensing, giving operators a practical basis for repeatable field work.

Features and capabilities

Adapt the spray setup to the crop

The T70P uses magnetic-drive impeller pumps and atomising sprinklers to deliver up to 30 L/min with the standard two-sprinkler arrangement. An optional four-sprinkler setup increases the maximum to 40 L/min. Droplet adjustment and the optional mist-nozzle package provide different application options. Select the configuration around the crop canopy, required application volume and treatment instructions; high flow is useful only when it suits the job.

Use the platform beyond liquid application

The optional T70 spreading system has a 100-litre hopper and supports up to 70 kg of suitable granular material. Its screw-feeder arrangement can be configured for different material sizes and application rates. The optional lifting setup supports up to 65 kg under DJI’s specified conditions. These are interchangeable working configurations, so a farm can plan separate seasonal tasks around the same aircraft rather than assume all systems operate together.

Assistance for terrain and field boundaries

Millimetre-wave radar and the vision system provide environmental information for assisted operation. Field planning, route generation and terrain-following functions help the operator manage repeated passes and changing ground elevation. Check boundaries, wires, trees and other hazards before starting a route. Obstacle sensing is an aid whose effectiveness depends on the scene, not a replacement for site assessment and supervision.

Build a workable charging and refill rotation

Battery choice, payload and altitude affect the operating configuration and allowable takeoff weight. Confirm the supplied battery and compatible charging equipment with Afridrones. A balanced setup gives the ground team time to refill, inspect the application system and rotate batteries without relying on one advertised charging time. Suitable cooling, power availability and safe material handling all contribute to a predictable day in the field.

Package and equipment planning

The spreader, mist-nozzle package, lifting equipment, batteries and charging equipment are separate catalogue items unless expressly included in your selected package. Confirm the battery configuration and local supply with Afridrones. Manufacturer maximums are configuration-dependent; crop, material, terrain and environmental conditions affect results.

Practical use cases

Routine crop spraying

For farms applying crop treatments over regular blocks, the T70P provides a high-capacity spraying option. Store field plans and review the application rate, overlap and operating height for each crop and growth stage.

Orchard application

Where the canopy and access routes suit aerial treatment, an appropriately configured spray system can support orchard work. Nozzle selection and spray volume should be chosen around canopy penetration rather than assumed from a broadacre setting.

Fertiliser and seed distribution

Fit the optional spreader for suitable fertiliser or seed. Material properties and feeder selection determine discharge behaviour, so conduct a distribution check before scaling the job across the field.

Seasonal contracting

A service team working across neighbouring farms can organise planned routes and a common support setup. The model suits customers who want spraying capacity plus the option to add spreading or lifting equipment as demand develops.
