Less time between flights

Dock 4 exchanges the aircraft battery automatically, with a battery-swap time of under 25 seconds in DJI’s controlled tests. This measurement starts when the dock cover is fully closed; it is not the complete landing-to-takeoff time. Actual turnaround depends on operating conditions and system readiness.

Visual detail and thermal information

Matrice 5TD combines wide-angle and telephoto observation with a 1280 × 1024 thermal sensor, laser ranging and night-vision capabilities. Use the different views to understand the broader scene, inspect distant details and identify heat patterns. Its 11× telephoto capability provides another perspective without changing aircraft.

Designed for demanding sites

The aircraft combines LiDAR, millimetre-wave radar and visual sensing to support obstacle awareness. Dock 4 has an IP56 rating and a specified operating temperature range of −40°C to 50°C. Performance and operating limits remain subject to DJI’s installation and flight requirements.

Specify the complete deployment

DJI Dock 4 requires the DJI O4 Ground Station. Its installation location, network connection, power supply and relationship to the dock must be planned together. DJI FlightHub 2 provides the remote management workflow.
